The following categories of Scholarships are awarded:

Academic Scholarships and Bursaries - (Year 7 and Year 10, 2012 entry only)
For academic excellence, awarded on the basis of performance in the examination and interview. The value of the Scholarships is determined by performance in both rounds of Scholarship testing and the subsequent interview.

Music Scholarships (Years 7 to 11, 2012)
For excellence in Music. Music candidates must have achieved a minimum level of AMEB Grade 5 or equivalent, at a high standard. The value of the Scholarships is determined by the standing of the candidate in the audition and interview. A reasonable level of academic performance must be achieved in the examination.

For excellence in Dramatic Arts. These Scholarships are awarded following consideration of a candidate's performace in the examination, an audition and an interview. Applicants must be good 'all rounders' able to demonstrate talent across the Creative and Dramatic Arts. Ideally they will be able to play either the piano or an orchestral instrument to 5th grade level, sing and/or dance and have previous experience in dance or music theatre and demonstrate their dramatic arts ability and experience in theatre, musicals, film or television.

General Tuition and Boarding Bursaries (Years 7 to 11, 2012)
Means-tested Bursaries are available to boys entering Years 7 to 11 and provide up to 100 percent remission of Boarding and/or Tuition Fees. They differ from Academic Scholarships and are awarded upon consideration of broader criteria, such as leadership qualities, academic performance, interview, co-curricular abilities and financial need.
