Learning environment
"The education of young men involves the nurturing of the whole person. Our state-of-the-art facilities and innovative boy-centred curriculum and programs focus on educating the whole student, meeting his physical, developmental and spiritual needs.
As a College we are primarily concerned with reaching the heart of young men and encouraging them to develop in stature, sensitivity, courage and human excellence as they seek to live faithfully and serve others in this world.
Collectively our culture and education aims to raise Scots boys who know themselves and their capabilities, who are armed with the values and knowledge to make a significant contribution to society and grow into the fine men."
Dr Ian Lambert, Principal
Scots' innovative education programs engage boys' learning, in a culture enriched by pastoral care and camaraderie where boys strive for excellence together.
Student management
Student management at the College is framed within a pastoral care system designed to support and nurture individual student development towards empathy and respect in relationships with others. A 'Code of Responsible Behaviour' emphasizes rights and responsibilities and works to promote self-discipline and positive student behaviour through a Merit and Reward system. Scots has a strong and pro-active approach to address bullying, and members of staff are equipped to identify and manage any instances of bullying behaviour in an appropriate and effective manner.
